Fac 51’s The Haçienda and Manchester’s Camerata experimental orchestra will collaborate with DJs on day 3 of MADE Birmingham festival at The Rainbow Venues on July 31st.
The spirit of legendary Haçienda comes to Birmingham for a fusion of dance and classical music, after selling out two Manchester dates and a show at London’s Royal Albert Hall in a matter of minutes.
Music icon’s Graeme Park and Mike Pickering will create an electrifying performance with The Manchester Camerata Orchestra, with support from Joy Division’s Peter Hook and The Light, who will perform an electric New Order set.
NME magazine spoke of Haçienda Classical at London’s Royal Albert Hall and said “What do you get if you mix a load of iconic acid house bangers with a 70-piece orchestra? Probably the best rave since 1997, that’s what. A night of soaring synth riffs, euphoric drops and massive tunes.”
Taking the euphoria of Haçienda Classical into a whole new level, MADE Birmingham will see two worlds unite with a unique meeting of styles and create a spectacle to remember.
Haçienda Classical will begin at 3pm, with final entry at 5pm.
